More Khador Winter Guard

So I have been a bit busy these past weeks but fear not I have some reviews and projects in the pipe line..
Now going through some old pictures I completely forgot that I painted another full unit of Khador Winter Guard not to long ago.

I painted these as there were just sitting there and thought why not paint a unit from a game I have played in a while.
These pictures were taken before my new camera set up which goes to show how much better my new camera is.

I went to work by painting and basing the UA and Rockets on a bit of cork and set to work painting these grey and red so they would not get mixed up with my other Winter Guard unit.

A few hours later they were done.

As you all may have seen in my review of The Resinarium Bridges terrain review I was using a new 3X3 game mat and River set (which you can buy on the Kickstarter) which was provided by Playmats.EU which I am going to review.

Off I went to 4ground who have taken a fair bit of space this year at Salute.

Wow what can I saw I woke up this morning to find that the blog has reached over 10,000 views.

 I can't quite believe it..

Hobby Resolutions For The Next Few Months At Least.

Ok it may be a bit late..... I will try and think of a few things that I can do over the next couple of months and maybe some long term goals as I think that works better for me.

A New Toy.. A Light Box By Light Room.

I was thinking over christmas that it may be an idea to get a light box to help improve some of my pictures on the blog.
Luckily after taking to my brother he said he had one that I could have as it was too small for what he needed.

I think he will be useful as he give plus 2 to rat so hopefully some of my jacks/Winter Guard will benefit in future games..

Lets just hope the dice gods are kind also.

Khador Winter Guard Ready For Duty!

Kovnik Joe and the Mother Land will be very pleased that one of my Winter Guard units is fully painted and ready for war!

Dice Rolling & A DIY Paint Shelf.

Over the past week I have been looking around for a paint shelf to fit all my paints. Easy right well not really as it seems all the shelfs that are on sale just fit GW paint pots.

I have a mixture of dropper bottles old style GW paint post (ones with the white cap and old hexagon style) plus P3 pots which all were different sizes. 

GrimLok The Hard Headed

After The Battle Grimlok needed to be painted for his heroics.. So I present to you Grimlok...

Dwarves out for a run... 1000 points (quick game)

Yesterday I was at Lano's to run out my Dwarves for their first 1000 point game.

My list consisted off  a Rune lord, Thane with BSB, 20 Warriors with full command, 10 Quarrellers with a musician, 10 Hammerers with full command a Gyrocopter and a organ gun.

I had a choice to go against Lano's High Elf's or his Lizard Men..I chose Lizard men as I wanted to see how these guys fight and Lano's painting is always good especially on these minis.

so we set up and got ready to play.
