What do the words Dark, Wood and High all have in common? Well if you an old school Warhammer player they would mean you would be playing Elf's.

Whats all that got to do with todays post well if your are a fan of Elf's this months Your Model Box has something for you as this months theme is Elven.

More Christmas Warhammer Fantasy.. The Desolation of Solland

The date was set Riot put out the call and 6 of us turned up to Riots gaming arena to play a full day of Warhammer Fantasy.

We were all required to make 3 lists at 1000, 1500 and 1800 with our leader going up in levels with each list.

I took Dwarfs, Riot Warriors of Chaos, Lee and Phil took Empire, Lano Elves's and Mike 2.0 took Ogres.

After having lunch in what I can say was a side room tucked away looking like a scene from Game of Thrones we got back to it and striated to set up for game 3.

The table was split diagonally and we could not be 6 inches from the line...

Riot Ville 2018 Part 1

Sunday 4th March was the day for Riot Ville..

Blood in the bad lands Dwarves Vs High Elfs 2000 points

After sorting out my 2000 point list with Lano we got down to a game that effects the Blood in the Bad Lands campaign the guys are playing. 

I will be part of the barbarian team which allows anyone to jump in and out of the campaign.

My list consisted of A Dwarf Lord, A Runelord, A Thane, 25 Warriors with full command, 10 Quarrellers with a musician, 10 Thunderers with a musician, 2 Gyrocopters, 21 Hammerers with full command, one Canon and 2 Organ guns...

We set up and got ready for first turn again I got first turn and get hatred everything..

 

My units march up the field and my cannon and Organ guns take shots at the multiple Bolt Throwers the Elf's have. Again not much success  really with the dice rolls and the Cannon falling short.

My Thunderers and Quarrellers take few shots at the chariots on the left and manage to get a few wounds.
