Review: Your Model Box May Monsters Theme

This week I had the nice surprise of receiving this months Your Model Box which is Monster themed.
I am looking forward to this one!

Lets take a look inside..

As you know unboxing is a hungry job..

First up is a metal miniature of a Stricken Adventurer from Alternative Armies that would work well as a display piece or even a objective marker for your games.

From Alien Labs comes this 50mm base perfect to fit your hideous monsters on.

Also in the box is a slightly larger then normal Rox exclusive miniature which is a hulking beast when the full moon is in sight..
Again like all Rox miniatures its made of resin and has some nice detail and has a great pose.

A surprise in the box was a Minotaur Miniature from Atlantis Miniatures.
As regular readers know I am a fan of their miniatures and have a review which you can see here of this miniature as well as the others from the Mythology range.

Some paint from Coat D'Arms in some very useful colours are also included.
These paints from what I can recall are like the old Citadel paints so I look forward to checking these out.

Lastly is the leaflet which explains about all the goodies inside this months box with the sneak peek of next months theme which is Tribal Themed.

So my thoughts...

Monsters is a great theme for a box with lots of options from fantasy to Sci Fi.

The Alien Labs bases is a very useful and has a good design that can work for both a fantasy or a more futuristic miniature.

Having the Stricken Adventurer from Alternative Armies is an interesting inclusion as its not a monster but this would work great as part of a scenic base or maybe a objective marker perhaps.

The Rox exclusive is going to make a perfect Werewolf for D&D or any skirmish games
and the inclusion of a miniature from Atlantis Miniatures which includes the Scenic base is fantastic.

One of the great things Your Model Box does is introducing not just introduce you to new miniature companies but to new paint companies too..I know Coat D'Arms has been around for a while but I have not got the opportunity to try them out so now that I can I will enjoy experimenting with them.

Your Model Box has done it again this month with a really great box.
