Today on the blog I have a review of July's Your Model Box which is Power themed.
Lets take a look inside.
First up is a a model from warlord games Marty McGuinness
a Leprechaun miniature that was originally sculpted for St Patricks day.
This is an interesting miniature to add to a Power themed box.
Next up we have some paints from Coat D'arms which are enchanted green and enchanted blue perfect colours to paint some magic fireballs or glowing effects.
Also there is another exclusive Rox miniature which is a sorcerer in a reminiscent pose of Dr Strange floating in the air.
The Coat D'arms paint will work grate for this miniature.
Next up was a surprise addition of a Garfy's Get A Grip miniature holder.
This is a fantastic bit of kid which is 3D printed and slots in bases for citadel miniatures by the looks of things.
I will be testing this out and and possibly review this as I have reviewed a few miniature holders in the past.
Last but not lease we have some Star mix.. Yum
In the box there is also a leaflet telling you about the companies and products in the box this month with the preview for next month which is Revolution.
There is a also a flyer promoting Quarter Master Studios which is a London based miniature building and painting services.
For more information check out Quartermasterstudios.com
So My thoughts..
This month had some interesting models to represent power and two really useful colours for magic and mystic effects.
It was also nice to hear about Quarter Master Studios as I have not heard about them before and will be interested to see their work.
I was very surprised with the Garfy's Get A Grip miniature holder a very useful product and I am looking forward to checking it out.
