Review: Atlantis Miniatures Ogres

As regular visitors to this blog have seen I have had the pleasure of reviewing a number of miniatures from Atlantis Miniatures. From their beautiful dwarf range to the mighty Mythology collection which you read both reviews vis the links here
Dwarf review and Mythology collection review

Today I have the pleaser of reviewing some examples of the new Ogre range that was a great success on Kickstarter last year.

Lets take a look.

First up with have an Ogre War Boss.

The miniature comes in one resin piece and seems to  not need a clean up at all.

The miniature has some really nice crisp detail and has a great pose of leader ship.

As you can see this will be great to leader in your Ogre army.

Next up we have the Ogre Shaman

This miniature comes in a few parts but again has no real clean up.
The staff and knife are very detailed.

I really like the sense of age in the face of the miniature and the pose with the sacrificial knife is great.

Last up is the Ogre Which.

The miniature comes with a large base and a  large cauldron which makes a really nice diorama.

This has real character and the cauldron with all the parts adds to this miniatures look and feel, You just wonder what she is cooking...

My thoughts..

Atlantis Miniatures has again produced some fine miniatures to their line with
the character of each miniature to the crispness of the details you can see why these were fully funded via Kickstater.

I really like what Atlantis Miniatures had produced here as the miniatures have there own style thats kind of a tribal feel but with the size and poses giving a feeling they will hurt on the table top.
I think painters will really enjoy getting their hands on these.

These are only a sample of their Ogre range with other miniatures such as the Ogre Butcher and units of 3 male and female Ogres there is something in the line to add or start your new Ogre Army.

If you want to find out more about the Ogres from Atlantis Miniatures or would like to see other miniatures in Atlantis Miniatures line visit
