Salute 2019 The Tables!

As always at Salute there are some fantastic tables on show were demo games are played from many different clubs and companies...

Lets take a look and theres a lot!

First up was the Drowned Earth Demo table.
(you can read my interview with the creator James Baldwin here)

As you would expect there was a lot of historical and large battle games going on.

There was also tables for Wulsung, Necromunda, Specter, Afterlife, 7TV, Fall Out..

Wulsung

Necromunda

Specter

7TV

Fall Out

One of the most fun and unusual board was a a fully built Lego board with a Flash Gordon game.

One of the largest boards and impressive was this gaming board that had a full on decking area and rotting whale...

There was also a very cool Batman The Miniatures Game Table.

Next up a interesting looking Moon based game and A new game called Meepal Force which uses plastic 2D figures that you flick to move and attack which will be on Kickstarter.

One of the games that caught my eye was Wild In The Streets.
A game that is based on street gangs (think the warriors film) and is a simple plug in and play game where you attack differnt themed street gangs.
It uses a basic D10 and stat cards and a very user friendly rule set which is based all on on A5 card.

One table I always look out for is by Rexley Reapers Wargaming Club .
In past two years they have done some fantastic boards and games one for Jurassic Park and a replica of Salute it self which had a zombie out brake.
This year they did not disappoint and turned up with not one but 3 boards all inspired by all 3 Back to The Future films.

These boards would light up with lighting for BTF 2 and all the Daloren's would light up at differnt time that match each film board one in 1885 seconds board 2 1955 and board 3 in 2015 for each films time period how cool is that..

If you would like to see the boards in action click the video below of my live video from Salute on my Facebook page and while you are there don't forget to click the like button..

What about this dystopian board depicting Dover port?

As you can see lots of great tables and games to demo and play this year.

Well as it was getting later in the after noon it was my cue to say good by to Salute 2019.

I want to say Thanks you to The South London Warlords for giving me early access to the show and thanks to all the traders and gaming clubs that I had the opportunity to talk to and visit at the show..

Until Next year..
