Painting & Hobby: Mines Of Moria Terrain & Moria Goblins

As you may have seen in my Battle Of Balin's Tomb review (you can read this here) I added some of the Mines of Moria terrain to the gaming board to make it more 3D.

I also added 22 Moria Goblins instead of the 12 in the box as I had some extra and thought the game could do with  more to get that horde feel.

Let's take a look.

Around this time Games Workshop released a miniatures game based on the new film.

In celebration of 20 years of the film Games Workshop have released a new board game/miniatures game which is based on one of the famous scenes in The Fellowship of The Ring The Battle in Balin's Tomb.

Back In The Game: Space Wolf Kill Team

You may have notice that I have been away for a bit.
If you have seen my social media posts I explained I was away to work on my metal health which has suffered over the last year. It came to a point were I needed to get some guidance and help. Posting the explanation was a hard thing for me to do as I don’t usually post personal things on line but I am not ashamed to say I needed the time to step away and needed help.
Since taking the brake and seeking guidance the the fog has started too clear.

Review: Acid House Terrain Portable Sci Fi Wargame Terrain

As gamers we all have the aged old problem of having enough space for our miniatures and storage space for all our terrain. Not only that carrying terrain around to gaming clubs or your friends house can be a hassle.

Well if you are playing Sci Fi games and are short on space I may have a portable solution for all your terrain needs.

Acid House Terrains Portable Sci Fi Wargame Terrain is a card based terrain system that is easy built and packed away and only takes up the space of a board game.

After their successful first print run Acid House Terrain are back on Kickstarter with the second print run.

Acid House Terrain has kindly sent over a box for me to review so lets take a look inside the box.

Review: Forbidden Psalm By K R D Designs

Front cover by @JohanNohr

The Story

Vriprix the mad wizard bids the desperate, brave and the foolish to venture into the ruins of Kergus.
He seeks the Forbidden Pslam , a nameless scripture that Vriprix claims can stop the darkness.
Whether there is truth to the mad wizards ramblings or not, his coffers run deep: promised riches await those strong, quick or cowardly enough to survive bearing back treasures from the lost ages.
And in these times, good coin is hard to come by.

Today on the blog I have a review of a miniatures game inspired by and compatible with Mork Borg RPG by K.R.D Designs (Kevin Rahman) called Forbidden Psalm which was kindly sent to me.

Let's take a look at this adventure at the end of the world.

Painting & Hobby: Pound Shop Fantasy Terrain

For those who visit the blog regularly you will know I like terrain and I often keep my eye out for things in shops that I think would look good on the tabletop.

After a visit to my local pound shop I stumbled upon the garden section and found a a lot of shelves dictated to fairies and ornaments for the garden like magic doors and wells etc.

Looking at them I though these might be worth repainting and using for fantasy games.

Let's take a look
