Lockdown Hobby: More Chaos & Skype Gaming

Work continues with the Nurgle Chaos army but before that I decided to go through the hobby room and make a list of all the unpainted models I have...
Lets just say I could either laugh or cry...

In any case this motivated me to get cracking and I managed to finish a few more units for the Nurgle army.

Review: Never Hollow Fantasy Terrain By The XLC

We are living in strange times at the moment but during this time the hobby community has come together and lots of companies are giving away free rules for us all to try to help pass the time.
This is also a perfect time for beginners and veteran gamers to build new gaming tables, but what if you don't like fiddly kits and don't like painting terrain.

Well I have something for you the new Never Hollow Fantasy terrain from The XLC.

Lets take a look...

Lockdown Hobby: Nurgle Chaos Warriors

As we know its all been a bit strange with everything that has been going on lately and I hope you are all safe and well.
On line I have been looking at the amazing projects that are going on and trying to engage with the community as we all try together to keep each others sprits up.
Like most of us I have been using skype/zoom session to keep in contact with family and have set up with friends paint and chat sessions  to help with motivation and to use this time to help work through the grey pile of shame we all have.

Unfortunately for me most of the last 2 weeks  I have not been to well (much better now) so most projects and reviews have had to take a back seat for a bit but this week I have been able to pick up and brush and got to work on my Chaos Army for Warhammer Fantasy,

Alister would be running out his Orks , Riot his Chaos Warriors and myself brought the Dwarfs.
We decided to use the saw army lists that were used at Riot Ville Live.

We set up and Chaos draws first turn...

Skaven vs Dwarfs Riot Ville Live 2020 Practice.

This Sunday sees Riot Ville Live 2020 a whole day full of Warhammer Fantasy.
Over the past few weeks we have been all playing a lot to get to grips with rules again and to get lists together.
Saturday saw Phil and I throw down a classic conflict of Skaven vs Dwarfs.
I had not had the pleasure (or should I say pain) facing Skaven and Phil decided to dust of his rats for a change as he has been playing Empire which he plans to use for Riot Ville.
