Review Art Of War: Nightvault/Shadespire Tokens

As many of you know who frequently visit my blog I have been enjoying playing Shadespire and I am  currently working my way through painting all the warbands.
One thing that I have notice playing is that all the tokens are all the same and sometimes you can get mixed up who's tokens are who's and theres not much individuality.

Well Art of War Studios may have the solution for you with their Shadespire/Nightvault compatible tokens.

Art of War Studios aim to design practical and beautiful tokens to make games easer. They believe in speeding up your gaming and make your gaming table look great.

Art of War Studios were kind enough to send me their Shadespire/Nightvault token set.
Lets take a look..

More Khador Winter Guard

So I have been a bit busy these past weeks but fear not I have some reviews and projects in the pipe line..
Now going through some old pictures I completely forgot that I painted another full unit of Khador Winter Guard not to long ago.

I painted these as there were just sitting there and thought why not paint a unit from a game I have played in a while.
These pictures were taken before my new camera set up which goes to show how much better my new camera is.

I went to work by painting and basing the UA and Rockets on a bit of cork and set to work painting these grey and red so they would not get mixed up with my other Winter Guard unit.

A few hours later they were done.

Sally 4th: Shadespire Storage Solution Review

For the past few months I have been looking for a storage salution that would allow me to have all my Shadspire minitures and accsories stored in way that they are all in one place.
On my search I found a company called Sally 4th which produces lots of differnt products using MDF but also storage salutions that fit in to 19 litre Really Useful storage boxes for board games and war games.

How do I store this lot...
I contacted Chris at Sally 4th with an idea about using the template of his storage salution design but make it so it fits all the miniatures and accessories in the Shadespire range .

After a few months of ideas going back and fourth Chris and I came up with this storage solution.

Mini Gangs By Ramshakle Games Review

There are lots of games out there with fantastic miniatures and some rule books that take a while to really get to grips with playing.

This can sometimes put off a lot of new gamers and even make it hard to introduce younger people into wargaming.

Well Ramshackle games may have the answer to help get new players into wargaming while also being able to keep the most seasoned wargaming veteran happy with their game Mini Gangs.

Hobby Holder Review.

So how do you paint your minis. Yes probably with a brush and paint but do you just hold the base of the mini to paint it?

How about using something that offers more stability when painting and could help you paint better.

Well look no further then The Hobby Holder from Game Envy Creations.

A Miniature Backdrop Build...

I got a little creative the other day.
I have a light box which has been working well for pictures  but sometimes you want to set a scene so I thought with the extra foam board I have from a DIY project why don't I make a scenic backdrop for my photos.

I decided to go for a natural setting allowing the backdrop to be used for different game systems and looked at doing a side of a mountain or rock wall.

Lets start with base..

A Little Road Trip to Rye..

I had a little road trip the other day to Rye near Hastings as it was the Bank holiday weekend and we had some nice weather for a change.

Before I got to Rye I stopped off at Ashford for a quick pit stop and randomly saw this WW1 tank. I think its the same model as the one from Salute this year.

Well Deep-Cut Studio have you covered with their Dice Trays.
