Unboxing: Model Box They Came From The Stars June 2021

 In this months Model Box we venture to the stars as we mix with aliens, robots, smugglers and all sorts of creatures.

Let's take a look inside this months box.

Opening the box I was first greeted by the Model Box exclusive miniature Annunaki.

This miniature is an alien race from Nibiru who visit primitive worlds and tricking the indigenous people making them think they are gods and get them to mine for gold for their ships and armour.

When I first looked at the miniature it reminded me of the armour from Stargate and the old Egyptians gods.

Next up we have some items from a familia company to the blog CP Models.

First up we have a pack of Pulse Rifles perfect for objective markers, dioramas or just to have a weapons upgrade for your miniatures.

Also we have a miniature form CP Models Scum & Smuggler range perfect to add to your smuggler war band in your RPGs or skirmish games.

Next we have some Old Rouges Robots from Northstar who have just released their new Sci Fi game Stargrave.

These metal miniatures have some cleaning up here and there but the composition and style is great for that mercenary look for most Sci Fi game.

The last miniature in this box is a Drone Breacher from Printed Obsession and produced by Shop 3D.

This miniature has a nice size to it and has some nice details but may be a bit tricky to paint as the main robot shield can't be removed but its still a nice looking miniature. 

It also has a slight Chappie feel if you remember the film which I like.

There is also some paint form Warlord Games in Green Webbing which is part of the Army Painter range.

Also not forgotten in the box we get a lollop for the sweet treat.

My thoughts..

This months box has a nice mix of aliens and robots with a dash of sci fi smugglers thrown in.

All the miniatures featured would all look great in RPG and most skirmish games.

The Old Rogues from Northstar would make some great mercenaries for hire and the Drone Breacher if you had a few more would make a good protection force.

The CP Models Smuggler is a fun miniature and my experience from painted  CP Models tells me this will be fun to paint and having some Pulse Rifles to add extra weapons options or for extra basing materials is always welcome.
