So in my last post I managed to paint 24 Mordor Orcs, 24 men of Minas Tirith and Theoden Mounted and on foot.
Now it was on to focusing on some single miniatures and get these finished so I can start on the Pelennor Fields box.

Over the last few months I have been getting back into the swing of painting again.
It all started from trying to find a project to get me started and well after my annual Lord of The Rings marathon it gave me an idea to get on and paint some LOTR miniatures that have been on the to do list and thought this would make a great project.
The last few weeks I have started to clear my hobby space and sort through a few things and looking through my timeline by just chance I stumbled across a gaming show called SELWG which was happing over the weekend and was very close to me.
So I could not say no and popped along to Lee Vally Sports Center in London and decided to take a look.
Its been a while as I have been a bit busy with work and life stuff so I have not had much time to hobby but it does brings me on to todays post.
We recently had a glorious Easter weekend which saw unusual for England some sunshine and warm weather. More importantly I had a bit of hobby time but not much which made me come up with a plan.
As I am on a quest not to buy anything new and paint/use what I have already in my to do pile I thought I would have a look and see what I can use to make some more buildings.
Well its been a busy few weeks for me with work and with my hobby time.
Firstly you may have noticed the blog has had a little refresh and has a snazzy new logo.
I decided to make the logo more clean and hopefully represent not just this blog but also any future projects online that I may pursue.
Thanks to my brother for the new logo designs.
So other then the new logo and blog refresh what have I been up to?
Well let's take a look.
One of my objectives for this year is to reduce the grey pile and try to work through miniatures and projects that you just don't get round too finishing.
One project that I have been putting off for a while is to paint the remaining 10 Chaos Cultist that came with the Dark Vengeance box for Warhammer 40,000 a few years ago now.
I did managed to paint 10 for a Shadow War Armageddon campaign which you can see here but never got round to finish the last 10.
So it was finally time to get them finished.
Today on the blog I have a review of a new monthly subscription box from DMB Games called Dungeon in a box.
DMB Games specialise in making all sorts for keen adventurers such as dungeon tiles and accessories sets and even provide a painting service if you want your dungeon ready to play out of the box.
DMB Games were kind enough to send me over their very first edition of there new subscription box.
Let’s take a look inside.
Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a great holiday.
As the last days of the year drew to a close I continued on with painting miniatures in the grey pile that I can use as posable Kill Teams.
I decided to have a go at 3 Death Guard miniatures that came form an Issue of Conquest magazine.
In 5th up until 7th edition Warhammer 40,000 I used to play Death Guard as my main army but as I have note played 40k in a while I have not painted the new style of Death Guard so Kill Team is a good excuse.
