Model Box: Horror Special Review..

When theres something strange in you letter box who you gonna call..... Model Box.....
Ok ok enough of the bad jokes to day I received something spooky in my letter box and its from the good people at Model Box with their October Subscription box themed around you guessed it Horror!!

Let take a look in this months box if you dare.......

Opening the box you are grated with this months infomation leaflet but im not going to show you yet as it will spoil the surprise...

First up are some metallic paints from Instar Paints.
These paints are not even released yet so this is an exclusive for this box and I am keen to give these a try.

In this month box you also receive a nice branded Model Box acrylic measuring tool that will come in very handy.

Next up lets look at the exclusive Rox figure and its a good one. For you horror movie fans here is a chest burster Rox mini.
Its got some nice detail and the lines look crisp. A bit of clean up but nothing to bad at all.

Carrying on with the horror movie theme is this fantastic looking Dream Assassin from a well known film with his menacing claws and scarred face.
This miniature is an exclusive from Lion Tower Miniatures.
Theres a little bit of clean up but again nothing to troubling on this miniature to sort out.

Of course as its Halloween it would not be complete with out some sweets right?

The leaflet in box gives more information about this months box contents and a peek at next months theme which is Dwarfs!

So my thoughts..

This horror box is full of exclusives this month. In terms of miniatures it is fantastic they both look great and can be used in a horror based rpg or what ever game you see fit..I think the painters out there will do a great job with these.

The Instar Paints look interesting as I will be keen to see what these are like and a measuring gauge is always a good tool to have.

So do you subscribe to Model Box? What do you think of this months box?
