Welcome to the first unboxing of the year for Your Model Box and this month its Artificial Intelligence.
Let's take a look inside.
First up we have a miniature from Diehard Miniatures called Walter Warbot.
This miniature has a Wall E mixed with a Star Wars Pit Droid look and I like it.
Diehard Miniatures feature range of Sci-Fi and Fantasy miniatures that have an old hammer style and if this miniature is a representation of the quality of miniatures then this company is worth a look.
Next up in the box from Copplestone Castings are a set of Terminator Robots and is part of their future war range.
Looking at these robots they remind me of the front cover of the RPG Rifts game.
These miniatures would be ideal as foes in your futuristic RPG games.
Copplestone Castings have a range of miniatures from 10mm- 28mm, from Sci-Fi, Fantasy and historical so do check them out.
The last miniature in this months box is the Your Model Box exclusive miniature called Aspect.
"He was programmed for war but after the A.I Prerogative Act when AI had the same rights as humans. Aspect abandoned his programming to find a new meaning but when push comes to shove, Aspect will fight back."
This resin miniature not only has a great background by Your Model Box ready for your RPG games but can be used for many tabletop games such as Infinity or in Deadzone by Mantic games as part of the Reb faction or even as part of the Enforcers faction.
Also in this months box there is some scatter terrain called Sic-Fi Utopia Cargo Accessories from TT Combat.
These accessories are made form resin and provide perfect cover for your battlefield.
Lastly in the box this month are paints from Vallejo from their Mecha Colour range
The colours are light blue and yellow ochre.
Also included is the info leaflet with all the information about the products that are featured in this months box and a look to next months box which is Halfling themed.
So my thoughts.
This months box has a nice range covering robots, paints colours for cyberpunk style and scatter terrain.
I like the Walter Robot as the design reminds me of a few Sci-Fi robots and the Terminator Robots will be good for general enemy's that your have to encounter in your games.
The scatter terrain is great for lots of games and from experience the TT Combat terrain is easy and fun to paint.
Talking of paints the Mecha range form Vallejo is something I have not come across but judging by the colour pallets these are going to work perfectly for Sci-Fi style miniatures.
