Saturday night was time for fighting on one table saw the Lizard Men fighting some Ork's in a mine both trying to get out alive and quickly to help their allies on the battle field above where the Empire are fighting off an invading Ork force.
Nurgle will be turning up in turn 4.
The tables are set up.
The pilers are by Mike 2.0 which look great!
The Lizard men are set up at the back end of the mine while the horde of Ork's start to move down the narrow corridor hearing all the noise on the battle field above.
Meanwhile above ground even before the first turn its a disaster for the Empire.
4 walls are breached and the men of the Empire are starved out while the main guns explode into a fiery mess...
This does not look good...
There going to need help quick..
This was what was left before turn one started.. not a lot of guns or men..
Mean while the random Squigs are causing all sorts of havoc while the Lizard Men look on..
The Empire take out the Spider Riders but are now worried about the oncoming Trolls and large unit of Savage Ork's... and its only turn 2...
The Ork's manage to breach the fortification...
The Lizard Men are playing a game of cat and mouse.. But the large horde of Ork's did not see a large flame template coming from behind them as well as a magic comet which both work to dwindle the numbers.
But the Lizard Men are running out of time and need to finish the Ork's off quick!
The Empire are holding on and Turn 4 arrives but Nurgle arrive to far away to really help..
It does not look good for the Empire..
In the mine the Ork's eventually all die but the Lizard Men are now too late to help the Empire...
The Empire's Wizard is just left to defend the fort with one last stand but it all proves too much and its a Khorne, Ork and Ork win...
Lee did his job of holding the Lizard Men up but Phil did have some bad luck with all his guns and men either dying or blowing up before the game started.
As the losers we had to decide the over all winner would be so we rolled a D3 and would you believe Lee won Ekrund....
But he is right in the middle of Nurgle territory he he..
This is how the map looked after week 2.
Phil Yellow Empire, Mike 2.0 Green Lizard Men, Alister Blue Ork's, Lee White Ork's, Riot Red Khorne and Me Purple Nurgle.
I am coming for you Lee...
