Review: Your Model Box June Tribal Theme

This month sees another Your Model Box review and this time its Tribal themed.

Lets take a look inside.

This months box is full of exclusive minis.
First up we have a  exclusive Maxzan mascot from Cartoon Realms by Lucid Eye Productions
which looks a fun sculpt and I instantly thought how this would look great on a scenic base next to  my Mantic giant as it looks like he's gazing up at the sky looking for a fight.
Toon Realms are designed to be a colourful take on the fantasy genre.

The next are some models from the Maxzan's tribe from the temple of the golden heart module in the Beyond the Savage Core game by Lucid Eye Productions.
There are some really nice details to these models.

We also have an exclusive variant model of the final boss in the module of the temple of the golden heart Ah-Cakulcha..
The information from the YMB flyer says this Ah-cakulha in life is only available to Your Model Box members and wont in stores to buy for months..

These would make a great warband for a skirmish games and of course great to use in the Beyond the Savage Core game.

If you are interested in Lucid Eye Productions I have a review for The Red Book of the Elf King which is another skirmish game which you can see here.

Not only do we have these miniatures we also are treated to an exclusive Rox miniature that looks fantastic.
I got Crash Bandicoot vibes from this.

Next up are some paints from Insta Paints.
Now I have been following Instar Paints for a while as they produce colours that match Citadel colours from 5th ed etc so I am pretty happy to have these.

In this box we are spoilt with 3 colours a cool purple wash and some nice browns.

There is also a Your Model Box sticker which will be going straight on my computer
and we are treated to some Haribo.

Lastly we have the flyer with all the information about the all the contents in the box this month and a sneak peak at next months theme which is power!

My thoughts...
Well its miniature packed box this month!
The Lucid Eye Productions miniatures have some great style and you get a feel for what the Beyond the Savage core game may look like.

The Toon Realms miniature has a charming feel also and as I said earlier I am looking to use him on a scenic base and the Rox miniature again has character and fits the theme for the month perfectly.

I am looking forward to using the Instar paints in this months box and the colours again are handy so there will be some test on these very soon.

This was a interesting theme this month and Your Model Box has managed to add some interesting miniatures and paints to help highlight these companies products.
