Warhammer Fantasy: Blood In The Bad Lands Part 8

We are back in the Badlands once again and this time it's a fight on the edge of the Marshes of Madness and a fight against AL's Ork's.


Let's get set up.
We set up the tables


Al gets first turn and moves his spiders getting ready to pounce on any oncoming units.
Al uses his Stone Thrower and Goblin Launchers to soften up my Knights.


I begin to move up the hill and charge the on coming Giant with my Gorechariots who strike a killing blow and take it out in one attack.


The Hounds then run on to meet the Spiders on the hill which don't last long but stop any shooting.


Al's Savage Ork's are stuck away from the fight as the decided to turn on each other.



The Gorechariots start to be attacked from all angles as revenge for the Giants demise.
My Knights are targeted again but as my Wizard is on a steed he causes some mischief and positions his self near the savage Ork's making them worried about his presence.



Al Charges in to the Knights and WOC but soon are dealt with swiftly but not after the knights take casualties due to some attacks and the Goblin Launcher.


The Savage Ork's also keep an eye on the on coming WOC.



Al decided to shoot the remaining knight and my Wizard that has one wound left and kills them.

Another pack of Hounds try to block the oncoming Spiders on the left flank so there is a clear path for the WOC to charge in the side of the Black Ork's


The other unit of WOC charge in to the hill to try and help the fleeing Gorechariot which in the end goes straight back into the fight.


The Hounds keep the Spiders occupied who are sitting in one of the marshes while the WOC go straight into the large unit of Black Ork's


The Black Ork's take casualties and lose combat. Al takes a leadership roll.
Al rolls high and the Black Ork's flee and get caught by the unit of WOC and are taken out of the battle.



Al try's to fight back on the hill with his Trolls but they are over come with the amount of attacks and the last one runs while the WOC on the left flank try to swing around and take out the rest of the Ork Bow Men.


Al's remaining spiders try swoop in on the WOC unit on the right but they don't last long.



To stop the Savage Ork's charging in to my flank I move the Gorechriot to face them blocking any chance of a charge,


In the next round of combat the Ork Bow Men are destroyed and my other unit of WOC kill the last Troll leaving a clear sight on the savage Ork's.


Time is the enemy for Al's Ork's now as he needs to get into a position to take out at least one of my WOC units to have any chance to win or draw the game.


But in turn 5 Al can't take out the Gorechariot in time and as turn 6 ends its a WOC victory.

I also get another mine which helps with the relics but Phil is running away with it.



The next game I will be facing Phil and his Empire...
