War Cry: The Terrain

So I have had a painting slump over the last week after I had completed a lot of terrain in around a week or so ago.

My final pieces that I completed was all the terrain for War cry.

Kickstater Watch: Playmats.EU Dice Friend

Last year you may remember I did a review/preview for a Kickstarter from Playmats.Eu for their Resinarium Bridges campaign (link to that review is here) which had a very successful campaign.

 Playmats.Eu are back on Kickstarter with a new campaign for their new product Dice Friend the new  2 in 1 dice tray and dice bag.

Well over the past couple of weeks I have been moving to a new dedicated hobby space and I have sorted through all my hobby stuff  and as you do you find a few things you forgot you had.

Well here are some miniatures that I painted this year and forgot to up load as well as terrain projects I finished this week after finding them in various boxes.

Well what a weekend I had gaming this week. First at 9:30 am I received my copy of War Cry but I had to leave that unopened  due to other plans BOOOO... But no big deal as later on I was off to Riots for some games.

Path To Glory: End Of The Road

Saturday saw Lee, Riot and I ready for the last game of the Path To Glory campaign.

Lee is now ascended to Demon hood and just needs one win to claim overall victory with in the campaign.

We set up on each corner with the floating rocks on the board as we take an deep breath as its now beginning of the end..

Terrain Build: Floating Rocks

This week there was no Path To Glory so I thought I would show you how i made the floating rocks from our last game.

 The idea for the last scenario as that would be floating rocks and the warbands would be fighting on and jumping around on them.

Nothing says fantasy like fighting on flying rocks right.

Unfortunately Riot did not have the time to make these before the game so I volunteered to make them for the campaign as I never turn down an opportunity to make some terrain.

So I started by using some old Kingspan foam and a CD for an idea for the size of each rock.

As I was walking down to the shops I noticed a sign about a hobby train fair. A little bit differnt from little soldiers but thought I would take a look inside.
